ABOUT ME

Thank you for visiting my online portfolio!

I'm an artist with expertise in illustrating, surface pattern designer, costume/apparel design and fabrication. I have a passion for ethical, eco-friendly production and vintage style. I'm highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, hand drawing, vector graphics and the creation of seamless repeats.

Although formally educated is in costuming, apparel and textile studies, my journey as an artist began as a small child, when my mother taught me to sew, draw, paint, and work in a variety of mediums. My fondest memories are of joyful rainy afternoons filled with pure creativity. Those same childhood passions still remain alive in my art, today.

My work is heavily influenced by vintage fashion and textiles, art history (from antiquity to art deco), old ad illustrations, classic films, thrift store finds, and up-cycled objects.
